Family Treatment Program

McLeod Center is proud to be the first facility in North Carolina to include the family in the recovery process of the client.  The Family Treatment Program at McLeod Center provides information, education, counseling, and support for families of those addicted to alcohol and other drugs.  The Family Treatment Program is a service offered by McLeod Center, every weekend, to all clients and their families at no additional charge.  McLeod makes a point to recognize that when a client leaves treatment to return home, there must be a level of support that exists in the home in order for treatment to have a positive outcome.

Family Orientation

Upon entering any treatment component, clients are provided information regarding the family program and are encouraged to invite their family members to attend.  It is ideal for people who care about someone battling the disease to have a better understanding of how to be supportive, rather than codependent.  The Family sessions are held on weekends on Saturday morning from 9:00am – 12:00pm.
