Text Box: PCP

Aka: Angel Dust, Boat, Ozone, Wack, Rocket Fuel

Sold as liquid, capsules, or colored powder, PCP can be snorted or eaten. Liquid PCP may also be “smoked” through dipping a cigarette in the chemical and smoking the dried compound. PCP is a "dissociative drug," meaning that it distorts perceptions of sight and sound and produces feelings of detachment (dissociation) from the environment and self. This dissociation can often result in odd, violent or suicidal behavior, and addiction can result after just one dose. People who abuse PCP for long periods of time show memory loss, difficulties with speech, depression and weight loss. These symptoms can persist up to a year after stopping PCP.
