	SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR (Dept JD)

Functions:
Upon privileging by McLeod Center, performs all clinical functions for which qualified, including: clinical lectures, group therapy, assessments, family and aftercare counseling. All record keeping as required will be completed in a timely manner. Other activities may be required when in the best interest of McLeod Center.  Other duties as assigned.  

Essential Training, Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Required:
BA/BS in related field plus two years’ experience of paid supervised substance abuse counseling experience; 
Or
MA/MS in related field plus two year’s experience of paid supervised substance abuse counseling experience.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR (Dept AD)

Functions:
Upon privileging by McLeod Center, performs all clinical functions for which qualified, including: clinical lectures, group therapy, assessments, family and aftercare counseling. All record keeping as required will be completed in a timely manner. Other activities may be required when in the best interest of McLeod Center.  Other duties as assigned.  

Essential Training, Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Required:
North Carolina Professional Substance Abuse Counselor Certification.  Must be at least a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) and a Licensed Counselor Addictions Specialist (LCAS) is preferred.

MAINTENANCE WORKER II (Dept JR)

Functions
Responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of entire McLeod Center facility, inside and out, and other maintenance duties as assigned.  
Essential Training, Knowledge, Abilities and Skill Required
Good work history.  Knowledge of maintenance work.  Valid North Carolina drivers license with subsequent approval by vehicle insurance carrier to drive McLeod Center vehicles.  Two years experience as a Maintenance Worker.  Preferred experience as a HVAC Technician.




FULL-TIME LPN FOR SECOND & WEEKEND SHIFTS (Dept LB)
Functions: 
Responsible for all aspects of medical care for all McLeod Center clients. Vital signs, medication administration, observation of client behaviors, and assistance with physical examinations are included, along with other nursing functions as sanctioned by the North Carolina State Board of Nursing.  Other duties as assigned.
Essential Training, Knowledge, Abilities and Skill Required:
Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing as a LPN or license has multistate practice privileges by authority of the Nurse Licensure Compact.  Must be able to work second and weekend shifts.




SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR (Dept RR)

Functions:
Entry level position, which shall be clinically supervised by a qualified alcohol and drug professional or certified alcohol and drug abuse counselor. The Counselor I will participate in the following activities upon becoming privileged by McLeod Center: clinical lectures, group counseling and assessment. Supervisor will monitor clinical functions and record maintenance activities.  Other duties as assigned. 

Essential Training, Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Required:
BA/BS in unrelated field; 
Or
AA/AS in related field; 
Or
High School/GED plus one year of paid supervised substance abuse counseling experience.
