It can be eaten or smoked and is the most commonly used illegal drug in the USA. Marijuana is a Schedule VI offence in North Carolina, meaning it is illegal to buy, distribute, possess or cultivate. Studies have shown that users who smoke Marijuana to be up to 25% more susceptible to heart attacks than non-smokers, as well as lower white blood cell counts and weaker immune systems.
