Text Box: “John” School McLeod Center in co-operation with the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department have launched a new program in an ongoing effort to diminish solicitation of prostitution in Charlotte. The “John School” is a therapeutic based twenty hour program which will address the “demand” side of prostitution. The John’s will undergo group counseling, lecture and education designed to focus on the moral, emotional and health consequences of soliciting prostitution. Fee: $200.00 plus $20.00 HIV Testing “John School” Programming Includes Two hours a week Five week program HIV Testing Clinical Support Case Management Group counseling on the effects of prostitution for both “John” and Prostitute.
