Works under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Medical Doctor. May perform taking vital signs, medication administration and supply, observation of client behaviors, and assistance with physical examinations are included, along with other nursing functions as sanctioned by the North Carolina State Board of Nursing. Designated as “critical personnel” therefore must report to work in inclement weather circumstances. Other duties as assigned.

Essential Training, Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Required:

Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing as an LPN or holds a license with multistate practice privileges by authority of the Nurse Licensure Compact.
