Responsible for all nursing functions sanctioned by the North Carolina Board of Nursing for Registered Nurses. The nurse may be assigned to such duties as; vital signs, monitoring medical clients, administering and supplying methadone, assisting with physical examinations, assessment of illness, other functions critical to client flow. The nurse will assess, plan and evaluate each client’s care during the induction phase of treatment. If needed she/he will assess client to determine impairment and judge whether medication will be withheld. Designated as “critical personnel” therefore must report to work in inclement weather circumstances. Other duties as assigned.

Essential Training, Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Required:

Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing as an RN or holds license with multistate practice privileges by authority of the Nurse Licensure Compact.
