ADMISSIONS SPECIALIST (Dept AP)
Functions:
Upon privileging by McLeod Center, performs clinical assessments for clients applying for treatment services. Completes all clinical aspects of Area Mental Health or insurance pre-certification requirements. Handles information and referral phone calls, as well as follow-up communication with referral sources or other parties when required. Other duties as assigned.
Essential Training, Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Required:
North Carolina Professional Substance Abuse Counselor Certification OR Licensed Professional
PRE-AUTHORIZATION ASSOCIATE (Dept BW)
Functions:
Responsible for verifying payer eligibility, requesting on line authorizations, entering data in the computer and tracking reimbursement denials. Other duties as assigned.
Essential Training, Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Required:
High school diploma or equivalent with clerical and administrative experience, and computer experience including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
PC SUPPORT TECHNICIAN (Dept TF)
Functions:
Provides onsite support troubleshooting for our local and remote treatment locations. Ideal candidate will enjoy working with people and have a minimum of 3 years experience with the following applications: Network configuration and troubleshooting; Windows Server 2003/2008 and Exchange Server 2003/2007 Active Directory environments; Desktop Support of Windows XP and 7; Applicable understanding of networking fundamentals; Desire to solve customer problems and finish projects efficiently; Some programming experience in C# and MS SQL is a plus.
Essential Training, Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Required:
As listed above with at least three years experience with PC and network support, preferably to include CMHC and NT specific experience
PART TIME CLERICAL ASSISTANT (Dept SM)
Functions:
Data entry of client information, maintain filing, reports and logs necessary to the functions of TASC, the Drug Education and CBI programs. Provides back up for other staff as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Essential Training, Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Required:
High school diploma or equivalent with clerical and administrative experience, data entry experience and a minimum typing speed of 35 wpm and general computer knowledge.

QP COUNSELOR (Dept RR)
Functions:
Upon privileging by McLeod Center, performs all clinical functions for which qualified, including: clinical lectures, group therapy, assessments, family counseling. All record keeping as required will be completed in a timely manner. Other activities may be required when in the best interest of McLeod Center. Completion of person centered plans and NC TOPPS. Other duties as assigned.
Essential Training, Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Required:
CSAC or LCAS; MA in a human services field and one year of full-time, post-graduate degree accumulated experience; OR BA in a human services field and two years of full-time, post-degree experience; OR BA in a field other than human services and four years of full-time, post-bachelors degree experience.
