The McLeod Addictive Disease Center McLeod Center’s main campus is currently located at 515 Clanton Road, only two miles from Uptown Charlotte. 301 Remount Road hosts an educational building solely used for group counseling and a Federal Halfway House facility is located at 309 Remount Road. Adolescent Group Home sites are now located at the Clanton Road campus. Medically assisted Methadone treatment programs are located in Charlotte, Boone, Concord, Gastonia, Hickory, Marion, Monroe and Statesville. McLeod Center is different from other addiction programs in that most treatment options are available on demand. Only residential aftercare and inpatient detoxification services are not available through the McLeod Center. However, outpatient clients can often be treated immediately upon assessment, and after a short wait, Residential Treatment can be provided. An individual seeking freedom from chemical dependence has access to a variety of programs. The treatment programs at McLeod Center are as diverse as clients and their needs.
