Adult Intensive Outpatient

Quality, affordable care is offered to persons seeking treatment for alcohol and drug abuse and/or dependence. From initial assessment to aftercare, McLeod Center delivers a full continuum of care. A minimum of 24 group sessions combined with individual counseling and relapse prevention education are tailored to satisfy individual client needs. Clients can expect to be treated with dignity and respect and to receive personalized and holistic care.


  • Individual counseling and treatment planning with a primary counselor

  • Family/significant other counseling in a multi-family group
  • Introduction to 12 step recovery groups and philosophies
  • Education pertaining to substance abuse disorders and recovery; including Relapse Prevention

Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP): A 90 day or 8-12 week program for adults that combines educational group lectures with intensive group sessions. We offer group sessions in the morning and evening 3 times per week for 3 hours. The cost of the program may be covered by Medicaid, Area funding, and some Insurance companies. Group days and times are:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday

Morning Groups: 9:00 am-12:00 pm

Evening Groups:  6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
